Born in La Palma 24 years ago, Valeria Castro began playing the piano at the age of seven with a keyboard on the carpet in her living room and ended up finding in social media the perfect platform to make herself known.

In 2021, her first EP "Chiquita" arrives, with a folkloric touch, lyrics full of sensitivity and deep Canary Islands roots, with this work she reflected her first steps. Songs rooted in her mind since her childhood and it was a way to keep her family close in her heart.

"With love and care" is the name of her first album, published in 2023. A work that emerged from a place of tenderness, but also of determination. It was an x-ray of the soul expressed in the first person, an exercise in self-esteem and self-love, and, above all, a confirmation that the artist only dedicates herself to talking about what really matters and excites her. She herself summed it up with calm confidence: "I couldn't be an actress, at least when it comes to my music. I can't make up a story for a song; I only know how to sing my own truth."

Finally, in December 2024 she presents "La soledad", a song that serves as a preview of her next album.
